About Aishling Care Academy
The Aishling Care Academy was founded in 2018. Since then, we have been committed to educating both families and caregivers about the importance of Home Care and the types of care provided to our diverse aging population. It is our goal to provide and deliver Certified Nursing Assistants who will make a difference in the lives of the seniors they provide care to.
"Aging in place" is vital to keeping seniors Home, Healthy, and Happy. We believe that there is simply no place like home. As one of the fastest-growing occupations, CNAs will be able to provide care in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, Ccrc’s hospice centers, rehabilitation facilities, home health home care and Private care.
Programs and Services
A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is an in-demand position that can offer job stability and scheduling flexibility for individuals interested in the field of patient care. A CNA helps patients with daily living activities and other healthcare needs under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
If an individual had successfully passed their state exam but has not worked under the supervision of a RN for a period of 24 consecutive months, then you will need to recertify. Recertification is easy.

"I went in thinking it wouldn’t be particularly tough due to me having my senses considered normal. However, this experience really opened my eyes to some of the issues people with dementia. Three minutes felt like ten, as well as it being tough to even walk with the objects in my shoes, I was able to remember a few of my tasks. But could hardly complete them (I think I did one full task and half of the second). The glasses and low lighting made it extremely difficult, now adding the gloves? Everything felt near impossible. The white noise only heightened my anxiety in the situation making everything else 100 times worse.
Long story short as frightening and anxiety inducing as this was. It gives me a glimpse into just some of what dementia patient deal with daily."
“[I learned] how Alzheimer’s disease and dementia care can cause other diagnoses such as depression, activities that are appropriate for people with the diseases. How to discuss the topics and behaviors with families and provide information to families, caregivers, etc.”
“Although some of the information presented I already knew, some information presented was an eye opener. Some info presented made me think “oh yes that does make sense, why aren’t we providing more education or investing in certain activities.”
“I learned about resources, warning signs of abuse, the correlation between dementia and depression, and the correlation between Benadryl and dementia.”
